PHOTOPRODUCTION OF VECTOR MESONS AND OTHER RESONANCES AT 4.3 BeV

The SLAC 40” HBC was exposed to a 4.3 BeV positron annihilation radiation. Results are presented on reactions containing no neutrals and one neutral particle in the final state. Taking into account the terms ∼ m 2 in the effective chiral lagrangian , we show that, at θ = π, the theory with 2 light quarks of equal mass involves two degenerate vacuum states separated by a barrier.
